Haba's Clever Up! Blocks sizing is based on their cube block, measuring 1.75" x 1.75" x 1.75".

Because all pieces in the Clever Up system are based on one set of measurements, you can easily use them to reinforce mathematical concepts:

  • Two cubes together equal the large rectangle.
  • Two small rectangles equal the cube.
  • Four rods also equal the cube.
  • Baseplates are wide enough to fit two cubes side by side.
  • Slats are as wide as one cube.

The Clever Up! Educational Booklet contains information about the developmental benefits of playing with blocks. It also provides prompts and ideas to encourage a child's fine motor skills and problem solving abilities. Plus it contains brain teasers to reinforce scientific and mathematical principles!
