A balance bike for bigger kids!
With cool BMX style handles and spoked wheels, the 16” Sport looks like a big kid bike. The kind of bike a daredevil adventure kid would ride. AND it's a great way to learn how to ride a bicycle!
With a balance bike, riders are in direct control of how fast they go. With their feet firmly on the ground, they “stride” to propel the bike along. And they develop their sense of balance and coordination in an intuitive and natural way. Peg foot rests let them coast along, just like on a two-wheeled pedal bike.
And once your child is comfortably able to zoom around, it’s an easy transition to a pedal bike. No training wheels needed!
For some kids with special needs, mobility issues, or physical differences, learning to ride a two-wheeler can be really tough. A balance bike may be a good option as they develop their gross motor skills and work towards that goal.
And if the goal is just rolling through the neighborhood independently and looking cool? The 16” Sport does that too!
