What’s the science behind how it works?
Treasure Diver uses Archimedes’ principle. It states that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid, whether fully or partially, is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body displaces.

The treasure diver in the tank has an air bubble trapped inside. When you squeeze the bottle, the pressure of your squeeze is transferred through the water to the diver, making the air bubble inside it shrink. The diver now weighs more than the water it displaces, so it is able to dive.

When you stop squeezing, the air bubble returns to its original size and the diver floats back up again!
