When life gives you lemons… make a clock!
Assemble the wooden pieces and swipe a lemon from your kitchen. When you place the included pieces of copper and zinc in the lemon, the acidic lemon juice becomes an electrolyte. The entire gizmo is strong enough to run a small digital clock!
The included illustrated instructions walk you through every step, and encourages further exploration. The lemon powered battery is very similar to the first electrical batter invented in 1800 by Alessandro Volta.
21 piece set includes laser-cut wooden pieces, sand paper, LCD clock display, and illustrated instructions.
Lemon required, not included.
Hint: It’s helpful to have a craft knife handy in case pieces do not release easily from the surrounding wood.
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
