Assemble this mesmerizing motorized bloom and watch its amethyst petals rotate in smooth, synchronized motion. Powered by an included solar panel, SolarFlower transforms light into movement while demonstrating how motors, planetary gears, and solar cells work together.
The ingenious mechanism drives all petals with a single motor, creating a captivating optical illusion as they spin. Clip the stem to a vase or flower pot and attach the solar panel to a window or directly to the stem to bring the sculpture to life whenever sunlight shines.
This hands-on STEM experiment kit explores mechanical systems, renewable energy, and solar technology — and introduces concepts like photosynthesis and electricity generation in an engaging, visual way.
You will also need diagonal cutter or scissors, nail file, marker, and access to sunlight or an incandescent lamp (minimum 50 watts).

- If ordered after 2pm on Saturday, your order will be ready on Monday (or the next business day in case of holidays).
Happy Up Clayton:
- Orders are usually available for next day pickup If ordered by 2pm, Tuesday - Saturday.
- Most orders placed before noon on Sunday will be available for pickup on Tuesday.
For Curbside Pickup:
Once we've let you know that your order is ready, give us a call when you arrive at the store. We'll bring your purchases out for you!

A $24.00 minimum purchase is required for shipping.
Shipping rates are based on your cart total after any discounts or coupons.
